I thought Robin was more of a "private" trainer since she only has the Odds On horses.

She is (essentially) completely private, at least based on the listed ownerships.  The only owners I've seen her train for lately was herself (Peine Bubbles) and Sheryl Erickson (Bow Wow Wine).

You never know -- it could be a favor, or something along those lines.  It's a COMPLETELY top-notch facility, and if I was shipping in from out of town, I would definitely use it if I knew the right folks.

Best,
EW

Let's not confuse the quality of the physical plant with the quality of the training.

Paul,

It's tough for me to criticize her.  She's never gotten a positive, and giving the facility and the money that Dana puts into it, she's probably running on hay and oats.  That's a tough road to hold here, so it seems.

The stable is only several years old, and they've already had BC starters, a couple track record holders, and will be sending two out to stud this year.  I'll wait and see before I form my opinion.

They've been an abject failure with the yearlings they have bought by the dozen... so much so that they've pretty much gotten out of that end of the business. Even if you'll "wait and see," apparently Parham has seen enough.

Starting in the BC requires nothing more than making the stakes payments and entry fees. People with nothing more than deep pockets and big egos can do it. What have their results been in the BC? Odds On Charmaine didn't get a check last year. Odds On Michelle was 5th in her race in 2003. Did I miss any?
