Is the real Dale Hiteman back?

Dale Hiteman seems to be driving with purpose the last few weeks. I was wondering peoples thoughts on this.

I have looked in my notes of the last few years and was astonished to find that Mr. Hiteman's win percentage greatly excels in cold weather. He seems flourish in below 20 degree weather with 15mph or more winds from NNW to straight North. I will look into this further and report my findings.

He's still, in many or most cases, all about trip driving - note IBO and Cut Throat. Nothing wrong with that. But better make sure there's a (potentially) shapely horse there first, and a favorable race set-up. I often marvel at how some sluggish horses from the inside (i.e., ones I bet on), get shuffled to hell, while some (see above) miracuously find their way to the wire.

Unrelated topic:

Is it within the stewards' rights to kick horses like Spicy Sport (and past Leonard horses) out of the tit-sucking conditioned races through which they keep their barns afloat?

Lastly, the "The Nihilator" was a sick-ass joke boat race.

The guy is tougher than half the cowboys out there.
He's not the overaggressive ohio halfmile driver anymore.
But he can still drive.

Race track Phil explained this very well in the Brent Holland thread. In cold weather stay covered up as long as possible. Hiteman's driving tendencies match this very well. I see he didn't do so good Sunday but its a long winter.
