MUD ON THE TIRES - I'VE WATCHED THIS HORSE ALL WINTER LONG AT THE RED MILE AND THE TRAINER REALLY DIDN'T SEEM TO IMPRESSED WITH HIM.

MINI ME - WORLD CHAMPION RACING AT A HOLE IN THE WALL TRACK - HOW SHAMEFUL THAT MUST BE FOR THOSE PEOPLE RACING HIM - I SHOULD SAY - HOW GREEDY - HIS DAYS ARE NUMBERED.  HE'LL ONLY STAND SO MANY TRIPS LIKE THAT AND THEN BACK TO THE PASTURE HE'LL BE.   SORRY MINI - SOME PEOPLE DON'T SEE WHAT OTHERS SEE IN A WORLD CHAMPION -

He'll run until he falls apart.  Just like most other gelding champion.

It tears me up on one hand, but on the other hand, I see a bunch of other horses that are forced to race until they literally fall over, and I wonder if it's really all that unfair.

I'm torn on this one.  Hope he comes back well.

Best,
EW

I would too, he could just kick back and chillax, never have tack on again, and enjoy the life he deserves

He's a racehorse.  Bred and raised.

Somes I wonder what's right in these situations.  They are racehorses at birth -- if healthy, why wouldn't they run until 14?

Best,
EW

I agree, most horses live past 15 anyway so why not race him to get the most out of him. Just don't race him when he's not healthy or you cannot afford to lose him.

They are SUPPOSED to be racehorses.  I've been to a couple farms and seen "retired" horses running along the fence chasing those going training miles...they want to GO.

As long as it isn't hurting them, let them race!

Best,
EW

Sighting was he finished 5th tonight at Hazel and looked flat doing it - HE'S NOT AS GOOD AS HE ONCE WAS Cry

Why does this announcer brag up Mini Me so much?  There are other top horses that deserve much more talk then an old broke down horse that people just want to be greedy about.  Looked a lil' off still tonight.  Keep dreamin World Champion geezer
