I like Jimmy, really do but am skeptical against the better drivers.  Have a feeling things will change big league when Dave Miller, Tetrick, Gingras come back.

A decent driver that wont stand a chance when the better drivers come back......things change real quick for a driver when they go from driving the 1st or 2nd best horse to the 6th or 7th best horse

While I, personally may have received the worst drive of Jimmy's career, I think he's a VERY good driver, and while not "young" (under 30) he's definitely got the skills to be a top driver. All he needs is some top stock to prove it. That's the single biggest part of it. Perhaps the retirement of JC will be that opening for him, or someone.

Driver's colonies are pretty watered down.  Once you get past the 5 or 6 guys at YR, you have YG, TT & DM.  So that's about 10 or so, then what?

Marohn's abilities seem about even with Brett, Merriman, Wrenn, Page, Hall, Trace, Allard, Hennessy... I'm not trying to cover them all but my point is they're all roughly the same - capable but not stars or dominators.
