Just heard that Sue Irion & husband and another family member were
killed in a terrible accident. Actually their truck apparently was hit by a train. Heather was not in the truck. If anybody can obtain the accurate info, please post. Don't really know if this info accurate, but please if someone knows anything, again please post asap.

So sad and so eerie. I just received an e-mail from Heather Irion yesterday regarding a broodmare/race horse prospect that she has for sale on EquineNow.com
I am guessing Sue is her sister-in-law?

Dale and Sue were the parents of Heather (and her two teenage brothers).  They were the only two in the truck.  Not only are there no lights or barriers at this crossing, and much of your view is blocked by forage, but the train apparently never sounded a whistle at all.  The entire track community is still pretty much just in shock.

These kids have a very tough road ahead of them and need all the prayers that can be sent for them.  They're all very good kids, excellent horsemen and a credit to their parents.... this is just horrible.  Cry Cry Cry
