Dale and Sue were the parents of Heather (and her two teenage brothers). They were the only two in the truck. Not only are there no lights or barriers at this crossing, and much of your view is blocked by forage, but the train apparently never sounded a whistle at all. The entire track community is still pretty much just in shock.
These kids have a very tough road ahead of them and need all the prayers that can be sent for them. They're all very good kids, excellent horsemen and a credit to their parents.... this is just horrible.
