Wolfson must be dense.

Every trainer knows or should no Ill is a zero tolorance state.

Isoxsuprine found in Cant Beat It. Wolfies second place finisher in the Anerican Derby a month ago.

and then he states the Florida Medication rules.

Hint to Wolfie. Ill ain't florida.

we need uniformity in medication rules not the mish mosh we have now.

Wolfson is really PO'd. He trains Misquise's Approval (sp?) and pulled that horse from International Festival Day. He said he ain't coming back to Illinois.

Yes, there should be uniform rules for everything in racing for all the states.

Probably, but who says Florida has the right rules?

My guess as to why he's pulled out of the festival is that the horse(s) he was bringing in were already tranq'd to the eyeballs and would fail the piss test if he raced them.

Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time...

a trace amount of Isoxsuprine (a class 4 drug) was found in Cant beat it.

sounds like zero tolerance to me.

Isoxuprine is one of those really long withdrawl time drugs. Used to be 21 days here before more sensitive testing, I heard the other day they want us to take 60 days withdrawl now. It is used primarily for bad footed horses to improve circulation in the hooves, but is considered a cardiac stimulant.
