The Meadowlands has only 1 pick 3 in tomorrows program & low take-out supers in every race. I liked the rolling P3 & the pools were way better than at Woodbine. The pick six is a waste imo., 50ȼ pick 5 is a better wager.

The Pick 3 pools at Woodbine (both breeds) are pitful - especially later in the card. M1 however should have at least offered an additional P3 earlier in the card.

Terrible move by the Big M in my opinion !! you can thank the Zoccali kid from what i heard .

They say the handle on the pick 3's have been down and that might be true but why eliminate them ? do they think by getting rid of them the pools are going to go up in other gimmicks ? easy answer NO

Let the people have the option to bet what they want ,once Yonkers and Chester open back up your going to see a lot of cheap claiming races that people are not going to want to bet. By keeping the rolling pick 3's you can hope that a race you like is sandwiched around the one you don't and go deep in that leg and hope for a bomb.

Who in the world is going to play a $1 super in a rat claiming race ?

That's what they told me too when I contacted them....that the pools were down. The pick 6 never attracts attention unless or until you have a large carryover. As far as the supers & pick 4 go, if I bet through my local track or My HPI account in Canada I get screwed...... I get 10% less because of some stupid CMPA regulations regarding the low takeouts. Sort of forces me to bet  through other avenues.

They put a super in every race and thats fine but they need to take a look at the super pools tonight  $1 wager vs $.10 wagering

1st - $5,428.00          $1 wager
2nd - $7,879.00        $1 wager
3rd -$9,963.00         $1 wager
4th -$10,197.00        $1 wager
5th -$37,831.00        $.10 wagering
6th -$8,087.00         $1 wager
7th - $19,395.00       $.10 wagering
8th -$10,496.00        $1 wager
9th -$3,302.00         $1 wager
10th- $8,960.00       $1 wager
11th -$23,318.00     $.10 wagering
12th - $31,536.00    $.10 wagering

The old pick 3 pools had more money in them than the $1 super pools

Tonight pick 3 pool had $17,175.00

I think there are very few so called whales left in Harness racing.   They should work on the little guys and the newbies.   dime supers and 50 cent pick 3's and  the 20 cent pick 4 have all work better at the smaller tracks.  no reason why it wouldn't work to raise handle on the big tracks.  they create more winners albeit smaller ones and this will help bring people back and increase churn.
