What is your beef with Brett Pelling? He is a great horseman who has made his owners large profits over the years. He developed such standouts as The Panderosa and Rock n Roll Hanover. Not too shabby in my opinion. His father Brian was a great Chicago horseman for years and did exceptional with New Zealand imports. Oh yeah, Brain Pelling was another horsemen that was treated unfairly by Langley and told that he was barred from racing horses because Langley and company had it in for him.
Personally, I think both Brian and Brett did wonders for harness racing and I will surely miss the both of them.

Brett Pelling is an outstanding horseman, but one who has had several serious rule violations, including his chief assistant, Nifty Norman, being caught red-handed twice tubing horses, including one on Adios day, and a morphine positive on the Panderosa, which led to Bob Glazer (Peter Pan Stables) pulling his stock from Pelling, and suing him.
Brett ranks right up there with Bill Robinson, Monte Gelrod, Joe Anderson, and Ken Rucker as one of the most blatant rule violators in the modern history of harness racing.
