well it would seem we have developed the game into 2 seasons,
the derby run, which takes it main action from February roughly when they run the first sprint races in Florida, New York and California , and the second part of the year, the breeders cup play off runs.
in between there are some (fewer and fewer) graded races of interest , and lots of good holiday cards...most however centered on regional rivalries, and win and your in victories to the breeders cup season..it just cost too dam much to get an animal from one coast to another
I like to think at 10f..the travers marks the start of the BCC playoffs season
if fact todays cards at Del mar and Saratoga , seem to set off the start of the playoffs, with tremendous renditions of many great races in many Bc divisions run this weekend, even the cannucks have a good card today with the longacres mile
this is a good time of year for racing the nights are cooler, and the animals display more energy than they do in the summer heat.
should be a great day of racing
i could take the time to list all of todays great issues...dude and shared belief, the kings bishop, the travers...it would take too much effort to go through all of it..
anyone got some ice cold winners for the board..
i like wildcat red in the 7f kings bishop, toga
