Reviewing the four finals of today's Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund, I'm shocked.
Of the 16 pacers in the two finals (one for colts, one for fillies), 13 of the 16 pacers are out of Badlands Hanover. Of the 16 trotters, 15 are out of CR Commando.
This is incredible. Is the breeding really this one sided? Or did these races just happen to draw strangely?
Yes, they are the only two sires there capable of producing an actual racehorse. Despite the higher purse money from the slot revenue, no one has been willing to invest in stallions there other than Winbak Farms, which stands both Badlands Hanover and CR Commando.
