How about Mel (Muffy as he was known) Turcotte's honey with the LARGE 's.
She knew when to bet Muffy also. Seems to me Muffy and the Large 's are no longer WANTED at Northfield.
Actually the HONEY on page 3 was Muffy's OLD SQUEEZE. Don't SQUEEZE the Charmin, OK.

Is it true that they would have to push back post time 1/2 hour at Northfield for the next race so she could get down the stairs for the winners circle picture with Muffy.
And then back to her seat. Opps back it up.
Had to cash first then back to the seat.
The good ole days when horses ran on talent and THOSE 's had to be "ALL TALENT" also. Whew.

Here's another very, very unknown Mel Turcotte fact: The woman he had before this one was a real beauty named Franscia (sp? pronounced fran-swa). This woman was a 10!
She was a former madam, I believe from Montreal. He used to get his guitar out and we'd all sing from about 2:30 am until 5 am out behind the Sagamore during the warm months. I remember one love song he sang Franscia: "They don't make em like that anymore.."
As good a horseman Mel was, he was an even better singer!
