You want to see a hoppin forum.  Check out the Harness Forum.  I think they have a post every couple of minutes.

i really don't care for the harness racing, i feel it is not legit. i could be wrong, but when i bet on someone racing, i want them to run as fast as they can as far as they can.

running with straps on your legs kinda prevents that, huh.

i'll never forget the race i watched once, where the lead, i dunno, buggy?, ran on the lead the entire race up till the last lap, then on the clubhouse turn this horse seems to forget to turn all of a sudden,
like he didn;t know a turn was there, he only just paced through the turn 10 times in the last 2 minutes, but on the last lap he seems to forget the track is curved ?? so the lead buggy forgets there is a turn
and goes real wide, then he remembers that there is a turn, and decides to turn after the whole field has passed him by, he gets back into the pace, but now he is last, like the script says he was supposed to be at the wire. don;'t like the pace, feel its fraudulent.
won't watch it, won't bet it, why does it exist ?

wanna go out for a buggy ride ?
buy a car and cruise LS drive.

Yes, thoroughbreds are Honest/b] and all run true to form just ask Steve "Ass"munson (sp)
not to mention all the jockeys who are on the take. Lets face it there is alot more in purses to steal in Thoroughbreds than Harness.

Sit behind one once and you might change your tune, until then don`t knock it until you have tried it.
Just ask john s. former T-Bred owner turned Harness owner.

Good Racing

Wow! Same to you. A lot of vitriol there. Maybe you should check out an anger management class.

Trackman,

John Frank I am not , I did not curse with every other word either.
I am a very easy going person so no need for anger management classes.

It is always the first words out of everyones mouth that Harness racing is fixed
If anyone had ever bothered to research it and handicap it you might be surprised
how easy it is to make money at it.

I started out a T-Bred fan Ruffian , Seattle Slew, Affirmed & Alydar , etc.
and a freind introduced me to Harness and I have been hooked ever since.
Ironically, he now plays T-Breds??

By the way the record was 104 people logged on in May and July (had to check)

Don't recall saying that to you.

"It is always the first words out of everyones mouth that Harness racing is fixed. If anyone had ever bothered to research it and handicap it you might be surprised."

Never said anything about harness either.

I think you might be referring to my comment to Sir Blockhead's post where my reply was "Wow! Same to you. A lot of vitriol there. Maybe you should check out an anger management class."

I have never given an opinion about harness racing. I don't give a sh-t one way or another about it.

Please read more carefully. Reading is an art.

Sorry for the confusion but you should "quote more carefully" your response was right after my post.

well if the anger management remark was directed at me,
i must have been misread. let me officially change my position to one of having an opinion to that of not having an opinion at all,
don't know anything bout harness nor to i care to know.
