This man is a coward.

In the army, navy or air force you are trained to obey the orders of your commander-in-chief. Period.

No if and buts about it.

If they hadn't gone after Al Quaida after the downing of the twin towers we would still see them actively participating in terrorists activities in the US.

Down with Al Quaida and all the terrorists of the world who maim and kill innocent men, women and children with their indiscriminate shelling with poison gas bombs like Asad is doing.

After Congress votes against military action, next thing you know soldiers will be on Facebook holding up signs that say "I didn't join the Army to fight for South Korea", or "I didn't join the Air Force to defend Israel", or whatever.

And a question for all our non-interventionists ...

Even today, many many years after WWII, we're told we should feel guilty from a moral standpoint that our government did not act sooner on knowledge of the poison gassing of concentration camp prisoners. So is that now all erased? We no longer should feel guilty that our government would (or did) stand by and watch a dictator gas innocent civilians?

Son Of Gorilla you are not in tune with the latest news.

Obama has stated clearly America's involvement in Syria would be a limited one and not intended to bring down Asad.

The American strikes would be just to show Asad the error of his ways when he tries to gas bomb his own populace which is against international law.

Kapish!!!

As far as continuing to send him heavy weapons, and vetoing anything in the U.N., IMHO.
