This man is a coward.
In the army, navy or air force you are trained to obey the orders of your commander-in-chief. Period.
No if and buts about it.
After Congress votes against military action, next thing you know soldiers will be on Facebook holding up signs that say "I didn't join the Army to fight for South Korea", or "I didn't join the Air Force to defend Israel", or whatever.
And a question for all our non-interventionists ...
Even today, many many years after WWII, we're told we should feel guilty from a moral standpoint that our government did not act sooner on knowledge of the poison gassing of concentration camp prisoners. So is that now all erased? We no longer should feel guilty that our government would (or did) stand by and watch a dictator gas innocent civilians?
