It is a cold case by now. Former jockey Bailey DIDN'T SEE
A THING.

With Billy Patin we had visual evidence. I don't see visual evidence here.

The complaining trainer says there was. We'll see.

With Patin they also had the hardware.

No object in image as reported. Maybe a publicity stunt.

Gallop out looks a little questionable but that is a big race to do that in even to get name . Hard to believe .

To me, Saez looked exhausted. He had to work hard for that win. Not to mention, the horse floated in and had to angle out about 100 yards away from the finish. This will make for an interesting rematch if they meet in the Penn Derby.

There's nothing there. With the close-ups, there is nothing in his hand, and I did not see him press anything against the horse near the finish. He surged because he got him out from behind Moreno right at the end.

The connections of Moreno need to just go away now. WTC dominated that race. The sad thing is, I actually backed Moreno on top (but I hit the exacta) and I'll never do that again. I thought WTC would have a tougher time with this being a newer surface and a shorter race but he showed up anyway. He's my early selection for the Classic. I wonder if Cross Traffic, Varrazano, and Moreno all go and challenge Game On Dude. If they all go, WTC will be running like a Freight Train down the lane.

The only knock I have on WTC in the BC Classic is something that is totally out of his control -- the short stretch at Santa Anita.

This will be one of those times where it will be imperative to have a SoCal jock on the horse, someone who knows *exactly* where he needs to be coming out of the turn for home. Coming from way back won't work, IMO.

My first choice would be Mike Smith. Second is Victor Espinoza...but no Luis Saez and no Jon Court.

The Dude will have pace pressure like he has not seen before. He has beaten up cupcakes like Clubhouse Ride & Kettle Corn all year. That's a far cry from the likes of Flat Out, Successful Dan, Ron the Greek, Cross Traffic, and Fort Larned. Not to mention good ass 3YO's like Orb, Palice Malice, and WTC. Throw in other possible pace players like Zano & Moreno and he may get cooked. I personally feel that Zano goes to the Mile though. Also, don't forget about stablemate Paynter.

So was Zenyatta. How did THAT work out for her in 2010?
