He calls the winner at the eighth pole and the race isn't over.  I think this has bit him in the booty before and probably will again? Eh?

Eh, if he gets fired from race calling, he can always go back to his previous job: announcer for the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons.

And boy do I wish that would happen.  I am sick of hearing him.  Mary Ann gave me a clue on how to look at those calls.  Or what to think about when I hear them but it didn't work for me.  Can't stand his voice.  It always seems like the volume is turned up when his calls start.
