it amazes me how anyone sheepishly puts up with Arlington. Ten to 15 % of the race is unwatchable behind the willow trees. Don't you understand how they laugh at the fans(sheep)? Get a spine! Click!

Then why do you watch?  Stay away, you won't be missed!  We had good races, great weather, and a large crowd.  What more can a normal person ask for?

I have been saying this for years. I love the track, and go to Arlington every time I get to Chicago, however, I cannot understand the stubbornness of not making the races watchable for the real racing fans. bang head bang head
It literally has become as if horses run into a tunnel, and how they come out is fine, after all who really needs to see that portion of the race? sarcasm sarcasm

A winner is a winner Ex man.congrats

lord knows I have picked many losers!

Was so pissed watching thinking he had come in second-

& have to agree - it would be nice if they trimmed some bush out there as the brush is getting a little thick.....but if that is the biggest complaint then so be it...

I know many people that sit in the infield for the Ky derby to see 2 seconds of horses..

Not sure if you saw the paddock after the race but saw an overserved douche almost go after Alan Garcia.....He was mumbling something about him,& the stewards...

HERE IS A LITTLE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT....

IF YOU ARE WEARING JEAN SHORTS, WORK BOOTS, & A PATRICK KANE WALGREENS T SHIRT...YOU ARE MOST LIKELY A DOUCHE

WGN - ARLINGTON!!  Absolutely shameful!  Whatever the contract or agreement was...they dropped the ball BIG TIME!
How do you promote and advertise a race and NOT stay on the air for the MOST IMPORTANT part?  THE OFFICIAL RESULTS!!

When I returned home from AP I watched WGN's broadcast of the Million race(s) that I had DVR'd. What a sophomoric piece of crap vs previous telecasts. Too bad - but at least the live version and day were outstanding.

Still can't believe WGN didn't stick with the broadcast for a few extra minutes. Dumb decision and makes everyone look bad.
Satellite time is expensive, and the ballgames have more viewers and ad revenue.

It was a local production,so no one expected an Emmy.No budget means poor production values. At least AP got an infomercial out of it.

It's only been a few years since an NHL overtime playoff game got cut off in favor of the Kentucky derby, this isn't a big deal imo
