I cant stop laughing when I see these posts.....Harness trainers and drivers are the greediest money grubbers to ever live.....And people actually believe that all 9 drivers (and most likely trainers too) all fix a race for a horse to win and yet he pays $135......If all 9 drivers conspired to let a horse win......The over under on the win price would be about $3.40

I see you need another 10 years of reading this forum. If anything, and I mean ANYTHING out of the ordinary happens in a harness race, like a longshot wins, or a favorite doesn't, or a guy tries to slow things down, or a guy on a longshot blasts to the front, or some guy doesn't move when some armchair driver thinks he should have, that's a fix. Every single time.

Not trying is cheating.   Regardless of reason.   Gassing is cheating regardless if just for purse or gambling.

In 35 years of watching harness races I have only claimed a race was fixed 2ice.  One time, everyone but the winner was tossed (1987 at YR), the other time the local radio host, Neil Rogers, raged on about it like a maniac on the radio.  No one was tossed - probably 1989? - Ron Waples stiff job at 3-5.

We need swoo to come on and explain all the details of how this 66-1 horse got up. We like you plenty Mr. Ed but you're just not doing this story justice.
