Very wise of the trainer not to push him first start of the layoff.

Watch him winning races in the coming weeks.

Had ZERO to do with not pushing the horse.....He was in position to win....they were not going big fractions & he had no pop.

The horse is a 3 year old. Only raced against 2 year olds last year and never broke a 55 mile. He was up against older horses and  a few who have 53 miles on there card.

Nothing but excuses the horse was no good......He may not turn his 2yo dominance into his 3yo season or maybe he has some issues...I'm sure we'll hear about it if he did. Hambo is a month away and they (the 3yo) are already going big trips...Royalty For Life just qualified in 51/3 @ the Meadowlands.

First start back. Just looked a little short.  It happens.  Doesn't matter how fast they go, it's really impossible to get race-tight off qualifiers alone.
