Harmer's reject " Sam-A-Way ". Harmer put him in the sale at Maywood and Fink and Argentino bought him for 32K. He never raced in a claimer for us.

Can anyone tell me if the person on the far right in the blue jacket in the top picture is Tom Wendt?

He knew Fink and Argentino and that might be him in the picture. If it's not him I then it might be " Interested Observer ".

Can you scan the picture bigger?  I believe it's him, but it's tough to tell with the size.

I'm not a 100% sure, but I'm pretty close.

Obviously, I don't know exactly what he looked like back then.  But, I'd take 3/5 that it's him.

I've never seen Tom, but if I had to guess what he looked like I would take the guy in glasses in the back.

Dan:

I am 99% positive that the guy on the far right with the blue jean jacket on is TOM WENDT. How old is that picture?  I am going to guess around '86-88. If my memory serves me right, Tom looked exactly like that back then and always had a mustache for as long as I can remember.
