The listed ownership is the same.  I don't have a CLUE who "Scott Rollins" is, however.  He doesn't have a start at the Big M in the last year (since 11/20/04), and only has 117 starts nationwide for that period.  During that time he's a 12.8 percent trainer.

Record: 117-15-10-12 for a UTRS of .210.

On a good note, however, he's a 38% winner with horses under 5/1.

Best,
EW

No problem, Big P.  Trackmaster Plus and assorted databases are a godsend...couldn't imagine playing the races without it.

EW, you surprise me...p.m. me and find out all you'd like about an honest, hard-working, decent human being and trainer in Scott Rollins.  Shame on you for not knowing him or his resume.  I'll wait for the p.m.  TC

No, we're not sick, are you under the weather ?  Get used to hearing about this strapping colt more often and thanks for starting a new thread...a good horse like this can always use the publicity.  TC

John Drew does look like he fits this group.
He's the morning line chalk.
Lots of horses coming from here and there........
Don't let Deliver The Goods get away at a decent price.

burton, Southwind McGraw and his 1:51 daytime Red Mile line are the M/L favorites, but John Drew is in a good spot.  GB should like this animal.  Go John Drew !  TC

Dan:
It could easily be Brennan's fault. He's notorius for throwing the lines at them when the wings fold, and I've seen all too many do just what John Drew did when Brennan is driving. If I had a green horse he's about the last Meadowlands driver I'd use.

Just my opinion, Dan.

I agree with you 100% Paul. It looked to me that when he was trying to leave he threw the lines at him. Then again maybe that wasn't it at all.

Scott Rollins is a dedicated professional trainer who has spent dozens of years in NJ as a groom, 2nd trainer, and trainer of a small public stable, mainly representing owners from New England.  He has trained at Freehold, in ME, at the Rock (since it's rebirth as a summer harness haven), Pocono Downs, and other places.  He lives on the work motto ..."early to bed, early to rise", jogs all his own horses, and gives top-notch quality care to both the trotter and pacer.  NO ONE will outwork this guy, and I'm honored to list him amongst my acquaintances in this game.  I've personally known Scott for 4 years now, and I hope he succeeds at the Big M this next season.  Anyone who knows anything about harness racing knows that IF the horse stayed flat on Saturday, he would have been forwardly placed in a 1:53 4/5 mile.  The cold reality is he did not maintain stride.  This situation will be remedied, and I expect John Drew to give a good accounting of himself in the short future.  Good Luck to his connections.  TC

Now 9/2.  I will play, but I have my line on the horse at 6-8/1.  Definitely a pass at 9/2.

Best,
EW

Despite the claim that his hobbles being opened up were to blame for his making a break last week, I note there is no change in hobble length listed for tonight.
