Say it aint so.  Reported on radio and online forums.  TVG charging up to 5% on previously free deposits and withdrawals.  The quarter hog needed a way to get those quarters back.  Unless TVG is the only online option, people who play with them are suckers.

Just noticed this yesterday right when they were going on and on about NO WAGERING FEES.

Deposited and got charged deposit fee. Send an email and they sent me a number to call.  I used the NO FEE plan of deposit.  What gives?

It ain't so.  I just called.  They didn't have it set up yet but it now is.  You hit "bet money" and there will be a fee shown, but right under that it will say "fee discount" which will be the amount of the original fee.

This was in the news the other day that a private equity firm may be buying Betfair, which owns TVG:

I hope they tweeted the shows and california people reporting it? Where theres smoke theres fire.  And nothing is ever F.R.E.E. in T.V.G.  2 many californians reported this.  If they changed, they changed it today.
And this is me bashing tvg mgmt not talent.  I dont bash the talent anymore.  I hope todds pilot gets picked up because I think he has mad broadcasting skillz.

How are they still on the air? They lose hundreds of millions annually as people use them to watch the races and bet with rebate shops.....How do any of these places survive (TVG, ExpressBet, Twinspires, Dial-a-bet, Phonebet.Com) Don't people know you dont have to bet for nothing anymore?

If you bet at the track, you get the full payout. I was at an OTB on Saturday and won a $120 exacta at Hawthorne. I collected $117 after the take-out.

This is all kind of a moot point in Illinois. I cleaned out my TwinSpires account, leaving just enough to stay a member. Plastic transactions usually have had a fee applied for the discount rate. How many in Illinois will go back these ADWs if the ban is lifted? Not me. out of sight, out of mind.

What is betcash and how does it differ from using a debit card?

Not going to happen, they turned the offer down:
