Hey, I went to Binghamton recently, but all I did was sweat my ass off and walk around a goddamned college campus while listening to a lot of boring blather about accounting majors.  You guys have all the fun.

Tioga gave away boatloads of tickets... I was a *** and didn't grab a ton of the extras to give to the boy's classmates.  It's a great place to watch a game

maybe to keep the other pitchers available to pinch hit

is it possible this team is getting worse?

alex is a true fan thumbs up thumbs up

montero on way to las vegas should be on way to mets  mets should release marcum  what is the point of him being in the rotation he is signed for this yr ,only  he also stinks

While there is a little apprehension about watching Montero take the mound in the unfriendly pitching conditions that is the Pacific Coast League, well soon be able to see what hes made of. This is his third professional season in the Mets organization, and the 22-year-old has experienced nothing but success during his trip through the farm system.

Montero has never seen his season ERA go above 2.50, and has finished each year with a winning record. In 266.1 innings pitched during his professional career, the righty is 23-13 with a 2.33 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, 253 strikeouts, and only 43 walks. His career BB/9IP currently stands at 1.5, while his K/9IP is 8.5.

One way or another, hes ready for the challenge that is Triple-A, and Im looking to seeing how he can handle it.

tine to end the Valdespin experiment at second base  stop jerking murphy around  let him go. no one likes the guy he can't hit on a consistent basis. he hangs to late on second base on double play. the mets have two solid players wright and murphy leave murph on second

So the Mets are on their way to another un-memorable loss when they get some aid from a non-unexpected source.

Mets have been drafting high schoolers for the past couple of years.  Looks like they're more than 2 years away.

Right now we're interested in Finding Offense, aka, Finding Nimmo

Lee Mazzilli's son is going to be playing for the Cyclones trophy
I wish they would build their farm system more with position players.
They should open themselves up more in Cuba possibly to find position talent.

Hope he plays during my annual sojourn to Coney Island to see the Cyclones play.

Nathan's hot dogs, a stroll on the boardwalk, baseball and the wind blowing in off the ocean -- what could be better on a Sunday afternoon in the summer.

Post time is something like 5PM for the Sunday games.
