No one knows Swoodall was portrayed in the movie 'A Hole In The Head'.  You will understand the way he is after viewing the following clip:

Go to 1:40 of the movie:

http://www.movieweb.com/movie/a-hole-in-the-head/HUAC1FAJ52f2DC

Swoodall, played by Frank Sinatra, needs money for a 'Disney' themed hotel in South Florida.

He seeks out an old friend, millionaire John Barnard, to finance his dreams.  John is headed to the track and invites Swoodall.  Penniless Swoodall sells his caddy to go to the track to impress Barnard.

Also, it'll be easy to spot Ira Smolin as the Barnard 'heavy' (gets $$$$ from Barnard).

Best ever and I actually read the book "Good Vibes" which the movie was based on.

And They're Off isn't the best movie but it's probably the latest. It's not that good but it does have its moments. It will probably turn into a cult classic. There are special appearances made by Bob Baffert, Joe Talamo, Doug O'Neill, John Sadler and Martin Garcia to name a few. You can watch the trailer here:

There's a Flicka movie on tonight on the Hallmark Channel at 7:00 p.m. (Central) starring Tim McGraw. This must be a new one. I'm going to watch.
