What the HECK was going on at Hawthorne today?   I could not believe the results on so many races.

Sometimes, "Bandit Racing" -- a brand of racing that features mostly inexplicable results, leaves its home region of Louisiana / Texas, hops on Interstate 55 heading north, and makes a guest appearance at Hawthorne...usually only for a day or so.

Try again tomorrow -- the Sunday card looks like it is chock full of speed horses that will pay the normal $6 or $7.

No need to fabricate something so devious, HV. Someone left a bucket of polytrack out by the backstretch fence, and just the smell of it was enough make the front runners "chuck it".

You're probably right. Just thinking about poly makes me ill, as well.

It was above freezing and sunny today. They are even predicting 40s next week.
