I GET GOOD REBATES MYSELF .NOT AS BIG AS THAT BUT THIER MONEY IS STILL UP FOR GRABS

They have a decidedly unfair advantage over everyone. Especially residents of the state of nj. Can this possibly actually be legal?

And you don't have a problem with gural giving betting cartels 13-23% rebates?
I personally don't know, and don't care !!!
What I do know is that this infighting among tracks is not helping the sport !!
The average fan have been rewarded with huge payouts this year at the BIGM, and I for one like it !!
Very few, if any $6 Exacters, and wide open competitive fields !!
If in fact, there are $300K bettors, the payoffs don't reflect their winning numbers !!
The option would have been no BIGM !!
Which would you prefer ??

Who exactly comprises "the sport" that supposedly is being helped here?

A decided advantage is being given to a cartel of four unidentified players.  How exactly is the broader sport (namely, the people who, um, aren't those four guys) helped by this?

Putting lipstick on a pig. (no offense pig) Pool manipulation and favoritism. How far does the favoritism extend to this cartel?

A nj resident gets 0 % of every dollar they wager returned to them
A non nj resident involved in a cartel gets 13-23% of every dollar they wager returned to them

Cmon man - you can't possibly say that is fair. There's just no way

It would be nice to know who the people are who are IN this cartel.

I suspect this will not be disclosed.

To me, the whole scenario shrieks, "THE PUBLIC BE DAMNED."

i dont think you understand whats going on here.

when the cartel makes a $100 win wager on the meadowlands, regardless of who wins or loses the race, the cartel is only sending $85 to the host track (meadowlands)

when a Nj resident makes a $100 wager using on the meadowlands, regardless of who wins or loses the race, the nj resident sends $100 to the host track (meadoelands)

its the reverse of rebates, but essentially the same thing

does this seem fair to NJ residents? no freaking way

I agree the nj thing is unfair.

But here in ny you can get great rebates.

What is the exact fractional takeout at the meds.
I think your figures are off on what the get.
Uncle Sam didn't give up his cut here.

If I'm 2-3 points behind a guy putting in 300,000 and I'm betting 1200-2500 in a night, I'm ok with it.
Should we all get the same rewards on our credit cards, even if I spend 100,000 a year and you spend 15,000?

It is all relative.

The bottom line Gural plus the horsemen elected to offer this incentive together.
Is it the solution to the Meadowlands?   No.
But it sure is a very good bandage which hasn't ruined anything.

They betting just like you and me?
Unless I hear they are getting to bet late or some other criminal activity then I'm not gonna jump to any conclusions.

There are way bigger issues and this cartel hoax by this jerk faraldo who has zero business in this is blown way out of proportion.

Don't bergman and faraldo have ties to one another?

That is not related to gural/horsemens deal with anyone.
That's been in place long before.
Your beef there is legislative, not Meadowlands administrative.
