In the ongoing battle of judges and lawsuits over the Emeral casino license, adn administrative law judge has ruled against the Emerald people and recommended revoking the license.
"At least since 1997, when Emerald first lost its license, it and its principals have played fast and loose with the law and with the rules and regulations" of the Illinois Gaming Board, Mikva wrote. "Its modus operandi seemed to be, `Catch me if you can,' rather than abide by the legal and ethical standards that the law imposes on those privileged to get a gambling license."
Emerald lawyer says the judge was biased, they will appeal, and the license is rightfully theirs.
