And what are those circumstances?  Just an overlay?

I see only too often that 4-5 who should be 2-5 either spits it out in the stretch or gets bet to the 2-5 target number.  Not worth it.

And the argument of the big bettor is worse because they're taking on even more risk.

But hey, without folks betting 3-5's I'd never get $13.60 on Casey Leonard last Friday!

Native World last week at maywood i could have cared less what he went off 4/5 or not i unloaded and he paid 5 bucks but i would have taken 4/5 no problem when i see a horse that im almost positive cant lose.  Im all over it... there are lots of 4/5's that i laugh at and wouldnt touch with a ten foot pole its all in how you do your homework  binoculars

So this week, before the Maywood card on Thursday or Friday, you'll identify those worth a bet at 4-5?     binoculars

We can produce more wealth, but we cannot produce more time.  When we give someone our time, we actually give a portion of our life that we will never get back.

Thats exactly how I just felt about Tireman in the 12th at Yonkers. I didn't get $5 like you did but even though he was 7-5 with a minute to post I expected him to go down a little more and he ended up paying $3.70.
