I'm excited.  If he goes anything like Haw, he'll destroy the 1:50 barrier, and this field.

Best,
EW

Yeah, but so would John Drew, if he hadn't gotten sore.  Grin Grin

Get excited when he races against Grand Circuit-quality stakes horses and destroys them.

Both of his miles were VERY exciting, I thought.  Probably the most "fun" I've had watching races this year...

EW:

To me an exciting race is one with well-matched horses battling head-to head down the stretch, not a race where one horse is 20 lengths better than the rest of the field.

I can't disagree here at all.  However, there was something about the easiness that was thrilling...at least it my opinion...

He went in 50.1 in his second start -- on cruise control...I thought it was incredible.

You can start with Total Truth and Artistic Fella so far in this year's 3yo colt pacers. They've actually raced against and beaten other top quality horses.

I can name dozens...and they all have one thing in common...thery regularly beat the best horses of their generation.

To tell you what speed is worth..are you old enough to remember when It's Fritz raced Cam Fella? It's Fritz was the "faster" horse, and easily went by Cam Fella during the race. Only problem is the slower Cam Fella came back and won the race.
