I recall from a thread a few weeks ago that we had some LZ fans here.  My oldest son told me a few days ago that the Zeppelin live concert in London in '07 was released in December on Blue-Ray and CD.  I hadn't heard that, so I picked it up, it's great!

Has a good beat and easy to dance to; I give it a 10.

Jason Bonham drumming is shades of his Dad. Jimmy Page looks like Don Vito Corleone post-hospital, but the man can still play. Plant's vocals surprisingly good. JPJ as good as ever on bass and keyboards.  Highly recommend.

have already heard and read about the possible tour from the band members themselves after the kennedy center honors
imo it would be a mistake  plant no longer has the voice needed to carry the songs anymore
led zeppelin is my all time favorite band and i saw them 3 times in the late 70's

Their cover of "Travelin' Riverside Blues" is prolly the best out there.

Tell me you don't get gooseflesh from Page's slide work.

Listen to the '07 concert Tross - Plant really sounds good. I was surprised and pleased.

Saw Frank very late in his career, and while he wasn't the Sinatra of the 40's and 50's, the ol' Blue Eyes magic was still there.

Adjust your expectations...it's still Led Zep, and it's still great.  I saw them in the late 60's and early 70's, and I'll take today's acoustic advances any day.

Not to derail, wich is my custom, but I would like to read your take on Roger Daltrey today...did you see 12-12-12 concert?  Took me a few songs to warm up to him again, but when he broke out with Riegn O'er Me I was impressed...still got it imo.

Spooky killer slide on "In My Time of Dying." One of the best numbers in the show.

Last time I heard Daltrey was the Super Bowl Halftime show a few years ago.  I thought he sounded awful (as well as the band).

I'm gonna go check out if any 12-12-12 material is at youtube.

(Edit: Heard Baba O' Reilly 12-12-12 effort.  I just can't get into The Who performing 40 years later.)

Geez guys if you want to see GREAT Led Zep pick up the double DVD "Led Zeppelin" set that Page put out a few years back. Caught them in their prime. Great performances and great sound.

I wasn't initially impressed with the set either but from that song onward, they rocked quite well....best of show imo....
