Note, Rosie's riding a filly, Unlimited Budget.

Also, tonight at 8:00 p.m. (Central), 60 Minutes Sports on Showtime will do a Secretariat 40th anniversary story.

Showtime's description:

"The first name in news magazines is now the last word in sports. In the latest edition of '60 Minutes Sports', has the new America's Cup - where high speed equals high risk - become too dangerous? Plus, Lesley Stahl sits down with the Bryan twins - the greatest tennis doubles team of our time. Then, 40 years after his historic Triple Crown win, a look back at the legacy of Secretariat."

That was a time, I wish the young ones here could have known the excitement and thrills of watching Big Red run.   Some day, some horse will repeat that thrill.  Zenyatta was the female equivalent, from my point of view.

As one of the "young ones" I can't tell you how much I wish I could have seen him run. Zenyatta (as you said) is probably the closest thin I've seen. I would say Rachel's Oaks performance was probably the closest thing I saw to Scretariats jaw dropping dominant victories

Zenyatta was as close as I have gotten.  And that was a thrill.  I am happy enough to have see her and all her personality as well.
