Armbro Goal, who won the Hambletonion, WTD, Dexter Cup, Canadian Trotting Classic, Zweig and Beacon Course Trot passed in Denmark at age 28.

His sire Speedy Crown and grandsire, Speedy Scot, both won the Hambletonion. His dam, Armbro Flight, won a heat of the Hambletonion, and her dam, Helicopter, won the race.

Berndt Lindstedt drove him most of the time that year but Campbell took over in the Hambo. He only lost twice, and both times he broke. He was on his way to a win in the Yonkers Trot when he broke.

Also, he was sold for $2.5 million a week before the race, but I don't know that this mattered much to him.
