Soembody tell us which tracks have open windows please?
thoutght I'd ask my question one more time.

Lots of talk about open windows but no one can tell us one track where it occurs.

BTW, the odds always change after the bell.

this open window theory is all speculation, i know it was pulled off before in a big tbred race, but i find it very hard to believe. yes, the odds always change after the race starts, and in my opinion it always will. they cant and wont have all the money tallied before the start.

Correct.  While we cannot rule out the possibility that somewhere people are betting after the race starts, it is unlikely.  While computer transactions may be completed quickly, the ability to display that information can take many seconds.

I am one of those bettors who watch horses as the gate rolls towars the starting line, but need to make final decisions before the race starts.  Frequently you can see who is or is not leaving before the start.

Of course they can. Close the windows 30 seconds prior to the start and it cant happen. Then perception and reality cant be questioned. End of story

On and on and on  goes Buton asking the same question for the 8000th time. Will it ever end ? The better question is why does the moderator allow him to do it. Other sites have tossed him

Yes Burton, the open window is alive and well. Do some research and find out for yourself where they exist. Meanwhile, she allows you to do this ever day. Hopefully something will finally be done on the probation package. Im quite sure many here are hopeful of that

Isnt this topic started by JJ?HuhHuhHuh?.............yes it is and he says there is an open window.......Burton has every right to respond and ask questions to the guy who started the topic............of course JJ cant answer because there is no such thing as an open window

They tried to say Yonkers and when I debunked that theory by showing 5 leavers in a row that went up in odds they would not even admit it.....they lied and said the horses went down in odds......thats the difference with these guys and a normal person........a normal person may think something but when they find out otherwise they can ADMIT THEY ARE WRONG and move on.......not these guys, they stick to what they THINK no matter what the FACTS show......JJ and pigchit will and have never admitted they are wrong about anything so what does that say about them?HuhHuh

Close the windows 30 seconds before the start and watch the handle drop precipitously.

Nonsense.....the T-bred tracks did it for 100 years---a bell would ring and the windows would close. Bettors would learn to adapt. That doesnt wash at all.

Harness tracks never did it, even before simulcasting.

Big favorites that break around the first turn go way up in odds every damn time. Just a coincidence.

 I NEVER SEEN IT,,

BUT THERE IS SUCH A THING AS,,PEOPLE CANCELLIN THIER BETS LAST MINUTE,.,

AND FALSE FAVORITES...

WATCH DA BIGM,,,

HORSES GO FROM EVEN MONEY ..BACK UP TO 9/5,,LAST FLASH..PEOPLE DO PULL THEIR BETS BACK,,

ITS JUST MY OPINION,,

LOL I posted two instances at Yonkers where a breaker went from 4-1 to 9-5 on a break but of course you guys never see those...........also you asked how i knew it was fact and I did research on this and could never find any consistency in the theory that every leaver goes down in odds.....did 2 nights at Yonkers and only 5 of 24 races did the leaver go down in odds.....watched last night in the last race as Brennan gets the lead easy with Lucky McTrucky and he goes from 7-1 to 10-1......I watched dash for the cash with cambell the other night (he was 12-1, gets away second and goes to 14-1)..........thats how i know it is fact......also if there was an open window you wouldnt see it being used here and there it would be used every race because people are greedy but we know that doesnt happen as there are great payouts all over every night

i love harness racing too, gural is our only real hope right now.

Gural is a lying sack of shit--he is a business man who wants casino at the meadowlands--and--ran into NJ politics and they way trenton works

meanwhile--he must pretend as if he cares about racing and "saving" the meadowlands make him appear as a savior--when indeed he is a snake oil salesman who could care less about that end of his business--he saw the potential and now must smile and wait it out--which will be until Governor Christies term is over--and then he would have to outpay the pro-atlantic city lobbyists which already have ALL of trenton in there back pocket

as far as your open window--i know Roberts has tightened up the so called "delay" issue --but i see it blatant how leavers get pounded, breakers have money removed from the pool--and some big time gatepunching still is allowed somewhere--some venue has access to the pools when the rest of us are shutout--but the fleecing of america will continue as per usual as long as these casino/racetracks really could care less about horse racing

I would hope the rest of the folks here read your last paragraph. They could all learn something. Thank you sir. They dont watch , so they dont know

Maybe the moderator can start a new section for these teenage girl wannabes and call it the gossip section?
