Y'know, I could be thinking of Melvyns Strike. He & Secret Service did battle it out to the 1:56.4 mile but I honestly can't remember who won. I'm thinking Marohn on SS & Marsh on MS with the winner sitting the 2 hole trip to the other. Same night as an It'l Trot or Challenge Cup.
