I just read the story & its not pretty. Anatolia Stables has been using Rene Allard. They claimed a lot at Yonkers together. I only see Ramona Disomma left with Hartline. By all indications Anatolia Stables have money. How long ago was this horse given to an Amish family? I know the Amish only take horses in good shape that can work. It is a very sad situation.

More scumbags.
From all that I've heard, I would like to meet Rene and Simon Allard on night after the races at the Meadowlands in the parking lot. Any lot would do.
After I finish "speaking" with them, I would assure these poor animals that the cruelty to them would stop...
These French pricks should pack up their shit and go back to Canada..Total vermin...

Vic D, this is slightly off the topic but I respect your opinion. In the states that have casinos at tracks (Racinos), wasnt a part of any of these deals that a % of the $$$ generated be returned to a cause that prevents horrible stuff like this?

I don't know for sure, but would have to say yes.
I raced some horses in the mid 90s and had one I couldn't get rid of.
Was approached at Freehold one day by an Amish guy. They would come in once a week, I can't remember the day.
He looked the horse over and offered me $700. I told him to piss off, my exact words.
This bearded prick told me that I knew nothing about horses.
I told him that he knew nothing about me, and he should walk away while he could still walk. Anger management was not one of my strong suits back then.
The bottom line here was that I took the horse and put it on a small farm in the town I was living at the time. I'm pretty much a city guy and I made enough money to not have to do that to the horse, or worse, sell to a killer.
Horse became very popular with young kids for riding.
Speaking of the killers, they should all die of cancer of the rectum.
As I said previously, I would love to have a minute with a guy like Rene Allard after hours....

I just don't understand people who don't use telephones!!
I will stick my nose into any fray where one party (person or animal), is treated unfairly and cannot defend itself..

When your done with them could I please have round two with these dirt bags!
That's if any things left when your finished with them.
I dont give a chit what the hell this cruel heartless vernon says  he is the owner and he and him alone is reasponsible for the care of his animals .
Now may I propose that we get the emails where ever these dick breaths race and flood their racing boards and racing secretaries office with emails demanding them not to allow animal abusers to race this is abuse and cruelty and report them to the race track racing boards !

Ask them to send these guys back to Canada and not to race in the USA .
Maybe this is how they treat horses in Canada but it doesn't fly in the USA also do u see nothing wrong with these creeps putting them in a killer sale ?
Just because they ate two damn greedy to treat the horse ? So they didn't do the right thing and put the horse down they put this animal in a killer buyer sale for slaughter for human consumption!

It's amazing to me how many of these lowlife scumbags operate in the business, and more amazing that decent people see it and say nothing.
i always got the impression that the decent people were afraid to come forward because the slimeballs had some kind of "muscle" behind them, you know, mob guys, tough guys etc. I may be wrong here, but it's just an impression..
I don't care how many tickets you can cash with these phlegmwads, the HORSE is still the game. And they are living, breathing creatures, not machines. They should be treated with some respect, and I also understand difficult, untalented, underperforming animals. I owned some of them.
Remember as an owner, you chose to get in and own these animals, they did NOT choose you..
As for the invisible "tough guys" and cheats, the best way to get rid of them is to expose them.
Track operators have far more invested in the game and the appearance of integrity then they do, and for that reason, the operators (should) try to offer an honest, or at least a mostly honest game.
