Mankind is a great writer.  Strongly recommend his novel, Tietam Brown.

Perenial loser -- The Golden Boy -- Arnold Skoland.  It was his job to face up and coming bad guys and lose to them.  Don't ever remember him winning a match.

Then there was Red Bastein and Argentina Rocca.

SD Jones and Johnny Rodz (Johnny Rodriguez) used to win a lot when you went to the live shows but Rodz never won if his match was televised. I always wanted them to give guys lifetime records when they were introduced that could have been fun......In this corner with a record of 3-468..... Rene Goulet (The #1 Frenchman) had the claw hold that never actually worked. There were several guys who wrestled as the "Masked Marvel" but the longest running and most famous one was Jim Angelo, who had a huge barn of harness horses in the 80's (after he retired and they turned the name over to someone else) at Brandywine and was there almost every night......He had some really nice ones.....Hedgerow Special being one.....Dick Gland (Nice Name Huh) who wrestled under the name Dick "Bulldog" Brower was another wrestler from Delaware......I doubt Dick Gland would have scared anyone
