Just one day after being named ASHA's 2012 Three-Year-Old Filly of the Year, Phone Terror romped to a three length victory in the $25,000 Miss Valentine for four-year-old mares back in her home province of British Columbia at Fraser Downs.

In the Sunday afternoon feature, the multiple stakes winning filly advanced first over from third after opening panels of :28 and :58 and established a commanding lead by the third quarter mark of 1:26.1. Phone Terror maintained a three length lead down the lane to solidify her victory, which was clocked in a season's best 1:55.1. The heavy 1-9 favourite paid $2.20 to win.

Mach Maiden Heaven and Scott Knight finished second off a pocket trip while early leaders Mamajons Bluegrass and Ed Hensley rounded out the top three finish order.

Phone Terror notched her second (consecutive) win in three seasonal starts. The victory leaves her with a 18-5-2 slate in 29 career starts and earnings totalling $170,415.

Surrey, B.C. horseman Serge Masse drives, trains and co-owns the Western Terror-Miss Lex filly with Melissa and Claudine Masse of Edmonton, Alta.

Also on the Sunday card, the BBs Mirage Claiming Series kicked off with Queens Heritaj zipping up the passing lane to score in 1:56.4 in the $7,500 opening division. J.F. Gagne drove the six-year-old Tajma Hall mare, who paid $13.90 for the mild upset, for trainer Marjorie Dumont and owner Carl Warnaar of Kelowna, B.C.
