This is the first card of the season where you have enough form to base most of your opinion on form instead of speculation.

Let's see what we can come up with in the frozen tundra tonight.  Speed might be real bad.

Race 1 -- URAWOMANIZER (while the Burke entry mate is possible, I would bet against him if URAWOMANIZER gets scratched), THE GREEN KNIGHT, BESTJETYET
Race 2 -- HOLDINGALLTHECARDS, MR DENNIS, SUNDAY POKER
Race 3 -- MAN HE CAN SKOOT, CHICAGO HANOVER
Race 4 -- OUTRAGEOUS ART, TAKEMEWITHYOU, ALEX BULLVILLE
Race 5 -- MORGAN SHARK, VODKA IS TERROR, RINGO
Race 6 -- A J CORBELLI, OSCAR OSCAR (if you want to watch the replay -- they usually don't show head on views in replays, but because there was an inquiry, you can watch it again and see that OSCAR OSCAR had plenty of room on the inside when he crossed over the pylon and did not gain an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE by doing so.)
Race 7 -- BAKIN ON THE BEACH, MAJOR BELLE, WESTERN TSUNAMI
Race 8 -- NO BU, PERRITO CALIENTE, FREDDY DAY HANOVER, DALHOUSIE DAVE
Race 9 -- PAINTED BLACK, STAND BY CAM
Race 10 - WHATS THE STORY, PLEASE ME TWO, PADRE MANUEL, OUTWARD BOUND, MCGENIUS (12-horse race)
Race 11 - ABELARD HANOVER, VOICE OF TRUTH, INTHEBLINKOFANEYE
Race 12 - ODIN BLUE CHIP, COLD BATH, IN MINT CONDITION, GAELIC THUNDER
Race 13 - MAJOR TIPPER, SHEER DESIRE, WESTERN VICTORY

A lot of Burke horses look best tonight.  Remember, when his barn goes good, they all go good, but IF they go bad, start tossing the later ones.

Good luck all.  horse shoe

Be careful of Bestjetyet in the 1st. Was throwing in steps down the stretch in his qualifier. Carlson did a good job keeping him from breaking again.

B J Y must mind hismanners.  Hard to play with confidence, but at his best -- can do.  I'm hoping Yo Cheyenne Rocky gets a lot of play in thei first.  I thought The Green Knight raced better when they faced each other last week.  TGK got the worst of it in the stretch after being first over while YCR had clear sailing in the stretch.  In addition, Siegelman horses have a habit of going backwards after big efforts (two back) -- not improving.

Burke has horses in 9 races tonight.  I give them serious shots in 6 of them.

Not too much tonight.

Race 7 - Pick Four (2/9/10-4/5/6-2/9-6)

Race 10 - I'm taking Outward Bound who needed his last start.
He showed some good speed last year at both ends of the mile and if ready could be too much for these at a price. 6W2/12/4

Good call.  The EYE has him with mild pace, but I saw he had no where to go.  I have him as a possible winner in the 8th.  I have NO BU as my top choice because his closing rushes have been getting faster every week.  Not in love with him, though, because he has been doing it off of easy trips.  Favorite PERRITO CALIENTE and lonsgshot FREDDY DAY HANOVER are the other possible winners.

Last night the Meadowlands interviews between races had many technical difficulties. One of those happened when Hollywood was interviewing Bob DiNozzi. DiNozzi was asked questions regarding driving against the top drivers at M1. He answered the questions honestly, and I felt sorry for the guy. He is a big supporter of the game and I hope people realize that.
