Remind anyone of I Want Revenge in the Wood? I actually think Revolutionary was in MUCH tougher spot traffic wise, couldn't believe it when he split horses late and exploded on the rail with limited racing room

I already wrote in a different thread that his performance was visually impressive.  I want to really consider him my derby pick already, but I wonder if he can get the distance?  Mom's side suggests he can, but dad's side is a different story!

I'd give him my nod for derby too but I don't want to doom his chances so ill stay undecided, watched him race in cpl others earlier today, cpl maiden losses albeit against exceptional contenders, horse looked green as the grass, still time to train and I know it's a 2 y/o but it just doesn't seem like he knows how to race yet.. Super talented though! Will post the races in a little while, tell me what u think

the horse was highly regarded and heavily favored in this race--was ridden obscurely--and won because he was TONS the best

everyone is making a BIG DEAL out of how he weaved thru traffic in the lane--but when you re supposed to have the race buried and supposedly running out the clock--what we saw was a horse who was instructed to be ridden for a stretch run only--and now we have so, so many crowning him a Triple Crown winner--which is absurd

face facts--he was best--shouldnt have been where he was--beat a weak field at odds on prices--and he is now Secretariat

i guess the racing world is starving for a hero and ned to hang their hat on ANY flash in the pan--not to say Revolutionary is such --because looking at his breeding--he can run all day

 Well, I'm liking him that I got him at  13 -1 in the first pool!  If nothing else, he  showed that he's battle tough and has a willingness/grit to run!  Still consider distance could be an issue, But I like where I'm sitting!  My gas, he'll probably go off anywhere between 5-1 and 7-1 in the Derby...

his sheet numbers have to be impressive, running 5 wide, getting back o the rail off that and holding off the place colt who was urging and had an inside trip..

i 'll bet he gets a zero to a 2 on the tgraph crap system
