1:34 and 4/5 is pretty fast.   How many lengths did he win by?   I saw the summary results only.

If you he was good...then, hopefully you saw revolutionary!!  Javier either was giving him schooling for the first mile and 70 yards of the race, or the horse is really green.  He won that race on sheer physical ability because I don't think he was comfortable until the gallop out!!!  All I can say is WOW!

I was listening to the live feed from Gulfstream yesterday and they said that Pletcher has been working Verrazano with his other star Shanghai Bobby in the mornings steadily.  They said when they would come down the stretch you could see that Verrazano had difficulty keeping up with Bobby.  Not sure exactly what that means but I found it interesting.  Always difficult to judge young horses with terrific times when they beat nothing like he did yesterday.

Thanks Glenn. This is good info.

WOW! He might be growing up too. Maybe Bobby was just more seasoned? Who would you guys wager on now?

It looks like Shanghai Bobby is not going to like the derby distance.  I'm guessing Verrazano will certainly go further.  Therefore, I like the V over the S!

Did any of you guys see Baffert's Superstar, Tiz the Truth, run in the first at SA on Saturday. Gary Stevens was in the irons.

The time for a mile was similar to Flashback's time for a mile (though he went on another 1/16th) and guilt trip's time in the Strubb.   Since he won ridden out, I'd say that makes him about on a par with FB.
