They released it early:

They are also running a "Name the baby Clydesdale" contest on Twitter:

If you submit a name, use the hashtag #Clydesdales

Janine, did you just have to go and do that?  I am crying my eyes out.  I so remember my horses.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales a couple of years ago and when they pull that wagon, they are so proud and are really enjoying it.  If I remember correctly, the lead Clydesdale's name was Jake but I do remember for sure that the Dalmation who sits on top of the wagon was named King; very appropriate for the King of Beers. I like the song they used in this commercial.  I also had the pleasure of seeing Fleetwood Mac in concert many years ago.

That is guaranteed to be the #1 commercial in all those surveys Monday.

For those of you who remember Col. Klink (the horse..duh) , doesn't that look lke him running down Michigan Ave?

My home (in St Louis) is about 10 minutes from Grant's Farm which is where most of the Clydesdales are stabled. Most days when I drive by there you can see no fewer than 15 of them out in the pasture. I think sometimes those of us who live around here forget about how awe inspiring the Budweiser Clydesdales are.

Klink...are you talking about our Colonel Klink that is up for adoption at ILEHC? IF so, you can see his pics on our website under the adoption tab. www.ilehc.org   Colonel is definitely a streamlined version of a Clydesdale!

Hi!...Yes..this is Bob...Great seeing pics of the Colonel and glad he is still hanging in there:) You do great work and we appreciate having a safe and trusting place to send the horses who need an off-track home.

They will be doing a story on the Clydesdales tonight on ABC's Nightline.  If you can't stay up that late, you can usually watch it online at www.abc.com the following day.

Here's the story on the Nightline story:

My first trip to Santa Anita, I want to say they had a Clydesdales show.    I don't know if it was a regular show or they were there on a one time basis.   They are beautiful animals, and I think they are good at kicking field goals.   They highlighted that in a earlier Super Bowl ad.

If you missed Nightline, you can watch it here; it is really good and very interesting:

Also, ABC named the Clydesdales and Team the Person of the Week:

Before the Super Bowl ads air, wanted to give some recognition to Cheez-It for their series of immature cheese commercials which I think are the funniest on TV and they show them all year. For those who don't watch a lot of TV or don't watch commercials, here's a good one:

If you are ever looking for one of those hard to find joke or gag items or just some funny stuff, check out Things You Never Knew Existed. You can order online but it's fun just looking through their catalogs.
