I've been impressed with Carlson.
He makes the most of his drives.
He doesn't overuse horses and it's been rare when he has been hung out and blocked flow.
He seems to have good hands and a is showing signs of being a good tactician.
Many drivers out there today just know how to make one go but that's it.
Carlson looks different so far.

You only need to double up if each horse is paying even money.....Carlson might not drive an even money shot the whole meet.....I see he paid $105 last night in the feature at Dover

ROI is something to be considered.  There are very few, if any drivers at any track that have a positive ROI.  I don't know what Carson's is, but will look at it when I get Thurs, PPs.  The same can can be said of trainers.  I know at Balmoral John Roberts has a positive ROI.  I think Angie Affrunti also has one as a trainer.  Carson is a decent driver.  I never had a problem playing him if I liked the horse he was driving,  If you can find a driver that is better than the public perception, exploit it!
