My bad. A Typo and some punctuation would have helped. "do not" make a great race horse....better?

as far as females, I think hands down the BEST of all time was Pacific Flight N.. The rest of the top 5 would be tough to fill out (I agree with Loyal Opposition and Shady Daisy), because many horses from the 30's thru the 70's are looooooong forgotten, and yeah I think probably the best of those decades could hold their own with today's best (trotting or pacing).

Somebeachsomewhere would be in that discussion although his competition was questionable. There's so many epo horses today that the true racehorses are in doubt and they beat each other up week in and out then fade away. No serious out of competition testing and epo that doesn't show after 24 hrs of admin has cast huge clouds over modern horses abilities imo as well. Were still in the the epo era until testing proves otherwise.

And Armbro Feather the rival. Niatross and Nihilator as well good choices. Eternal Camnation was a grinding beast but i have reservations on whether she was enhanced in abilities due to later issues.

Niatross, Nihilator and SBSW didn't race past three. They don't qualify as "older pacers."

Best pacers include Niatross, Nihilator, Somebeachsomewhere, Call for Rain (honorable mention!), maybe Jennas Beach Boy and a few underrated ones like No Nukes and Storm Damage from the 80s.

How about a vote in the female category for Jef's Eternity? Maybe not the best ever, but she's right up there in the top 10 I believe.

No, I don't correct spelling, punctuation, grammar or typos. Its the fact that my words never implied that a the individual "form spree" by Golden Receiver should compare to a lifelong career. I stick by my comment that his current form is the best I have ever seen -- but who knows how long it will last. I do not consider his two years worth of work to be on a par with the greatest of the game. To explain, ad nauseum, there has never been a horse that shows such incredible bursts of speed at both the beginning AND end of each race. That combination makes him unbeatable -- as long as the form spree lasts.

Correct. I would say 'older' horses start at 5yo.

FIRST of all its very hard to compare from era to era who is the greatest of all time.
You can ask Gene Reigel (RIP) and Bob Macintosh and they will probably say ARTSPLACE ask Brett Macgarth and he will say SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE ask BILL ROBINSON AND Monte Gelrod and they will say RED BOW TIE or Holborn Hanover ASK Bob Farrington and he will say Rambling Willie Brett Pelling will say RocknRoll Hanover Joe Halloway will say Jenna's Beach Boy and this list can go forever and there will thousands of duffrent horses mention.
Jenna's Beach Boy deserves a mention in this dispute. Lets see he won in 47.4 in a wooden bike with Bill Fahy, What would of he gone in a tornado or UFO with the likes of Brennan in the sulky 44 and change. I mean it sounds crazy but everytime i look up theres a horse dropping three seconds of his lifetime mark, and all you hear we have lighter equipment and better racebikes, etc etc,etc
A couple horse's that nobody have mention are CAMFELLA, Albatross, Dragons Lair, Beach Towel, Camluck, and there are so many more.
MY CHOICE WOULD BE Camfella.

For those question 3 yr old SBSW ---Shadow Play was a top horse despite the foot issues.....LBJ performance awesome.... Messenger -- YR --Shadow Play an SBSW was great.... How about Rainbow Blue? She lost once at 3 on Hambo day, breaking because of a camera going off. 2yr old filly Somewheroverrainbow ---2 yr old champ out of SBSW -Rainbow Blue ... How about that for breeding??
Yes, Falcon Seelster was great..One of my favs.....I think Harmer rushed him back at 4. Only month layoff when decision to bring him back and race at 4 in Jan...Still won 11 out of 18 at 4 including Levy.... Harmer embarrassed him on Hambo day match race. Pressure from Meadowlands the match race...He should've been scr...Bad stifle ...Forrest skipper won easy....If Falcon was right he couldn't warm him up... That was Falcon's last race broke down past half...Forrest came home 33.1...
OTRA was so consistent.....Cam Fella though kept beating same group (Miller's Scout) ...He did win 28 in a row after losing 5 races early in 83....
Tarport Hap was special ....Even beat the boys....
Mr Big and Artistic Fella --recent times excellent FFA.....
Skip By Night of the past 5 yrs ---Foiled Again ---as game as they come... Golden Receiver impressive ---But certainly different horse at Big m..Like to see him race on half in levy...
