Aqueduct can set the trend

What do you guys think of Aqueduct going to a Dirt/Turf/Syn track? The inner course could be made into an all weather surface. The main track dirt, the Turf course remaining the same. Wouldn't this make sense? With the bad weather in the winter/spring, a synthetic surface would make perfect sense for the inner course.

No.  Synthetics are ruining breeding.  If there is no breeding, there's no racing.  Or only 5 tracks.  Aqueducts winter would be all Woodbine horses with the other NY horses going to Florida or Oaklawn.

I agree that would work at Aqueduct, but what "trend" are you talking about. Aqueduct is a 9f oval. That means the inner dirt is 7f. Most tracks in this country have a 8f main oval. Those that have a turf course are then 7f. Not sure a 6f synthetic oval is the way to go.

The only track that should have polygarbage is Turfway.  They barely race now anyway. It should probably go away there also.  The best polygarbage track with no kick back and plays like a fair dirt course is Hollywood.

Keeneland, Del Mar, and Arlington are not the same with polygarbage.
