It appears that at least movement is place to try to get the law passed.  At the end of the last legislative session ADW was going to be attached to the slots bill, which would have made this a long term delay.

But last week, Lou Lang introduced a short term renewal for ADW by itself (HB0995) that would extend the recently expired bill until June 30th of this year.  A second bill, (HB0964) introduced by downstate guy Jay Hoffman, would have ADW approved through 2015, but I think that one has more revenue splits attached to it.  Both were introduced last week and since the longer term one is going to take more time, it looks like Lang introduced a short term renewal.

Both versions sent to Rules Committee and the House returns tomorrow.  We'll see.....

Did any of the IL ADW's, outside of TVG, actually stop taking wagers?  I haven't wanted to make a bet in a least a month, so I don't know for sure.
