If you get a chance, look at the 3rd race at Woodbine, their prefered pace. Only 6 horses and 3 of them have been off for 2-3 weeks. However, take a look at TOP GEAR former class horse was down in the 12k Claimers and was taken from that race. Has now WON four in a row moving up the ranks. Watched all of his races and looks to be pacing out of his skin. Get Roger Mayotte tonight (no help there) as Scott Zeron and Jody Jamison booked off for the awards night in Canada. The horse can leave and wait for Waples and spark mark to qt. move and take the pocket from there.  Should be a nice price too as Sparky Mark will be big chalk at 1-1 or so.

Good luck at Woobine tonight folks!
It is a good circuit. Second to the BigM.
Speculation about it's demise was indeed premature.

Last year Mohawk opening night was May 17.  I haven't seen a 2013 schedule yet, I believe there was some doubt if they were racing their at all this year, which would be a shame.  I would assume sometime in May though.
