That's pretty old to be going 150, its probably not the record for horses 11 and older, but its pretty fast, anyone have the fastest times for horses aged 11 and older?

The eleven-year-old gelding, Bondy, won a $20,000 condition pace at Harrah’s last August in :49.2. Not sure who holds that record.

Instrument landing for Marcia Gardner was a prolific winner at an advanced age, but this was a long time ago, he wasnt in the 'fast' category, he just won horse races, plenty of them.

Tattler's Jet went 1:49.2 as a 12YO at Colonial Downs.

I'll try to find a mark from an old-timer at a real racetrack.

This 14YO pacer was still doing a mile/minute in 1990.

What impresses me the most about Silent Swing is that he continues to get 40+ starts a year and just keeps on ticking.   trophy
