Silverbulletday and Lecomte at FG

Anyone got any great insights into the 3 y.o. running at FG today?

I don't know the fillies at all, but do know I'm not all that sold on Avie's Quality for the Lecomte. Thoughts?

I like Gal about town in the fillies race.I think she ran into better horses in her last two out.Not sure she is a oaks filly though at least one with a big chance.

She would seem to have a speed advantage, unless maybe the 2, 7, or 8 horses go out. I think one or more will, and then the 10 spot for Gal might be a problem.

Therefore I kind of like the 4 horse Touch Magic to catch them at the end. And maybe the 1, to stalk and pounce. And toss in the 2 to hang on for a piece. 4-1-2, in some combination.

In the Lecomte speed seems a bit lacking and the favorite is a closer. Hard to wager against it, though, so maybe include a couple others in an exacta box like the Lukas horse #4  (speed, and no crappy post this time), plus the Maker horse #3 (just got a feeling), and then to round out a tri wheel we'll toss in the 7 (impressive win). So the horses there are 4-6-3-7.

Good job, hope you had a bundle on it. It sure looked like a race that set up for a speedster.

I couldn't bet my picks because of the ADW troubles, but even if I had I probably would have constructed the tickets all wrong and come out with zippo.
