January 16:
Gulfstream:
Race 4:
1. Unteathered (8-5): Was 7th in the most recent start on the turf. I don't think it didn't like the turf. So that last race is a toss. I think it may like this dirt.

January 16:
Aqueduct:
Race 9:
1. Colossal Gift (5-2): Disappointed in an optional claimer in the most recent start. Takes a drop in for $20,000 claimers today. Back to straigjt claimers should suit this one's chances of winning.

January 17:
Aqueduct:
Race 4:
2. King Rock (5-2): Was 5th for $15,000 claimers and is in today for 12,500. I think the class drop will help this horse out this one and it looks dangerous in here.

January 17:
Gulfstream:
Race 2:
6. Abraham (9-5): A first timer with good works coming into this one. Could be ready to fire first time out. The pedigree says Distorted Humor which does well with sprinters so I think will be dangerous and if it doesn't win look out for this one down the road 2nd time out.

Santa Anita:
Race 7:
5. Eblouissante (3-5): She sill try to keep it rolling like her sister did. She seems to be training well and lets hope the streak continues.

I'll be rooting for her but no value. She looked great last time out. She's only going to get bigger and stronger.

Jan 17. Oaklawn Park

6-6 early double.

Brett Calhoun has #6 Someday Maybe in here dropping from MSW company to a $15K Mdn claiming event. Nice work tab in preparation and Calhoun usually does well with this move. Owner/Breeder just might want a pop and claim. In the 2nd, Mac Robertson has a mare running in a conditional claiming event. She's been running in open company and now gets an easier spot. Lots of speed in here and the change of scenery might be just what the Dr. ordered. Mac is a 30% trainer with fresh horses off a 31-60 day cycle. He's another trainer who does well at OP. Front wraps on last two races - if off today, I will bet large.

Thanks. Made some good coin on that one. Double fizzled out but like I said, keep your eye on Mac Robertson horses this meet.

We won at Santa Anita. We were 2nd at Gulfstream. We got scratched at Aqueduct.

Well I couldn't find anything else interesting other than Zen's sister. Today was a tough card.

January 19:
Aqueduct:
Race 9:
5. Rumack (5-2): Was 2nd for $16,000 maiden claimers and drops today for $12,500. Seems like the class drops should help this one and maybe lone speed with good tactical speed.

January 19:
Gulfstream:
Race 6:
4. Powers That Be (5-1):  Nice first timer with a good pedigree out of a Mr. Greeley.  Has been training quite well for this race and should run well for the debut.

January 19:
Santa Anita:
Race 4:
2. Footbridge (3-1): Ran so well in the debut to finish 3rd in the most recent start. I think this one has a promising future in my opinion. I think this one will grow more and more and mature too.

January 19:
Santa Anita:
Race 4:
11. Woebegon (4-1): Was 3rd in the most recent start for $16,000 claimers and goes up today for $22,500. Was close but probably moved too soon when she was involved in that speed duel. If there’s not speed duel then she can be dangerous in here and love that jock/trainer combination as they’re hitting currently at 57% rate at the moment.

January 19:
Aqueduct:
Race 7:
8. Towering Moon (3-5): Was 3rd on an off track last time out. Looks good in here on paper and if he brings back his debut race which he won by over 6 lengths then you know he’ll be back to where he left off as this one does have talent in him.

January 19:
Gulfstream:
Race 9:
2. Doubles Partner (8-5): Was a 3rd in the Citation H. last time out. Was close but the winner was too strong. Last year he won the G3 Canadian Turf H. and hasn’t won since then. Seems like a softer group he’s up against and I think he’ll back in top form in here with a win.

January 19:
Fair Grounds:
Race 11:
8. Black Rhino (7-2): He was 2nd in the most recent start at the FG only beaten by a couple lengths. I think he should be strong in here since he drew a good post position and he will be a contender in here.

Great card tomorrow and a Rainbow P-6 carryover of over $300K. However, rain is in the forecast.  Angry

January 20:
Santa Anita:
Race 1:
9. J J Be Chillin (5-2): Will be making the debut today for the first time today and the trainer has a nice training percentage first time out 17%. Has had nice works for this race.

Santa Anita:
Race 8:
6. Dixieland Blues (5-2): Was a 4th in the most recent start and needed the last race. She has a liking to the hillside and should be ready to go today.

January 21:
Aqueduct:
Race 9:
8. Handy Andy (3-1): Was 2nd in the most recent start and might’ve moved too soon in the most recent start. Has the pedigree to get the distance out of a Forestry and should be the 3rd time is the charm today.

January 21:
Gulfstream:
Race 10:
4. Benergy (5-2): Was 3rd for the same tag of $30,000 claimers and is in for the same today. Was coming on late last time and maybe the extra need in distance will help this one out to get the victory.

Lukas has a colt out of Take Charge Lady running in the Smarty Jones today. He's obviously the half to Take Charge Indy. Currently 10-1. He's worth a play.
